The Arena of Verona

This place is a must for Verona's visitors, who come from all over the world. Approaching quietly it is not so difficult to imagine how crowded it was at the time of the Romans; just close your eyes to enter the magic atmosphere that only opera and show can create.

At one time, it consisted of three rings, but of the external one, only a short part remained. Boxes on the floor indicate the location of the missing pillars. Today, thanks to the cleaning up work of the Arena, the beautiful original colours came to light again. Amazing for both, tourists and residents.
