Built during the last quarter of the 1st century BC, today you can see only a few ruins. With the passing of time, the manufact suffered the ravages of time, of the cataclysms and laid for centuries completely buried under miserable cottages. Only in 1830, Andrea Monga bought all these houses, demolished them and tried to excavate the few ruins of the old building.
At the beginning of the XX century, an extensive restoration was performed, whereas today, only the cavea and the staircase of the old theater remain, as well as some arches of the loggias and significant parts of the stage.
